Russian women have too much pride to ask for money outside of their immediate family. No matter what your conscience is saying… SAY NO! Request a receipt for any gifts you buy through an agency! Whether you buy your lady flowers, a box of chocolates or an expensive perfume through an agency, always request a copy of the receipt. The scammers will possibly provide a fake receipt but it may help BRIDEFRAUD in its investigation if you choose to employ our services. Go to the local pub’s known to cater for foreigners! In Odessa that pub is the Irish pub “Mick O’Neill’s”, located on Derabasavskaya, the main tourist strip of Odessa. Most foreigners I meet at the pub are in Odessa to meet, or find, a woman. These are a great resource for tips on the DO’s & DON’Ts. Be cautious of the women who frequent these pubs! Many prostitutes ply their trade at these venues, as they know that foreigners are looking to “pick up” women, so be vigilant. I personally know of 2 Australian men who have had their drinks spiked & woke up with nothing but their passports. Make sure you have an “OUT” excuse! In case you get the feeling something doesn’t seem right about the lady you are meeting for a date, arrange for someone to call you during your date.
